What the course covers
The 40-hour course provides the full Michigan salesperson credit required for licensure, plus attendance, identity, and completion-certificate requirements set by the approved school.
The 4-hour civil-rights and equal-housing component
At least 4 of the 40 hours cover civil-rights law and equal opportunity in housing. Confirm this component is included in the specific course before enrolling.
The completion certificate and 36-month window
Your school issues a course-completion certificate as evidence of finishing the 40 hours. This certificate must be dated within 36 months before your initial MiPLUS application; older certificates may not qualify.
