License term

A Salesperson license expires two years from the last day of the month of issuance.

First renewal and PLE

Complete 30 hours of PLE within one year from the last day of the issuance month, regardless of active or inactive status. Failure moves the license inactive. PLE and CE are not interchangeable.

Subsequent active renewal

Complete 16 total CE hours: 11 mandatory and 5 elective.

Late renewal and reinstatement

Do not perform licensed activity after expiration. Within 30 days, renew without the reinstatement fee. After 30 days, the reinstatement fee is required. Reinstatement is available for up to one year; after one year, current education and exam requirements and a new application apply.
