Official Search vs. Other Documents

If the official record does not show a license
Do not infer practice authority from a course record, exam result, fingerprint completion, or broker submission.
If the official record does not show an issued license in the status required for practice, do not perform licensed activity. Recheck the entered name and license type, ask the sponsoring broker whether NJREC approval has been received, and contact NJREC when the official record and the broker’s information remain inconsistent.
