The Current Renewal Cycle
The current 2025–2027 term ends June 30, 2027. Deadline-specific content is cycle-bound and must be rechecked before a later renewal period.
The 12-Credit CE Requirement
Covered brokers, broker-salespersons, and salespersons currently need 12 approved credits, subject to stated exemptions. At least six credits must be core topics, including current minimums of:
- 2 ethics credits.
- 1 Fair Housing and New Jersey Law Against Discrimination credit.
- 1 agency credit.

- Confirm your license's current renewal cycle end date directly with NJREC or your broker of record.
- Complete your CE hours ahead of the current cycle's completion deadline to avoid the late fee.
- Confirm the current core-topic breakdown (ethics, fair housing, and any newly added core requirement) before selecting electives.
- Submit renewal through the current official process and confirm receipt.
2025–2027 current-cycle checklist
- 12 credits, including at least six core credits.

- April 30, 2027 is the current no-late-fee CE deadline.
- June 30, 2027 is the current renewal deadline.
